I was referred to Dr. Gonzalez due to a severe prostate issue. After consultation I decided to go with the recommended PAE (Prostatic artery embolization). Given the options for my condition, this seemed to be the way to go, and am I ever glad I did it. Surprisingly, I remained conscious through the procedure (I’m a horrible weeny, and prefer to be out of it). However, the procedure was painless, and it didn’t bother me in the least that I was awake and aware. If you’re having issues with an enlarged prostate, I would recommend this procedure and Dr. Gonzalez.
